Starkey Wins Two 2022 Top Workplaces Culture Excellence Awards
Hearing Aid Manufacturer Wins National Awards for Employee Appreciation and Well-Being
Eden Prairie, Minnesota (November 8, 2022) – Starkey received two 2022 Top Workplaces Culture Excellence awards for Employee Appreciation and Employee Well-Being. Issued by Energage, the research company with more than 16 years of experience surveying over 27 million employees at 70,000 organizations, these awards are based solely on employee feedback.
Top Workplaces Culture Excellence awards celebrate organizations that excel in workplace culture. The Employee Appreciation award honors organizations who demonstrate gratefulness for the efforts of employees, which is reciprocated by motivating employees to give their best at work. The Employee Well-Being award celebrates organizations who put the health and wellness of their employees at the center of their workplace culture.
“At Starkey, we truly believe people are our bottom line and we are committed to building and cultivating a culture where people can bring their whole selves to work and feel a sense of community,” said Jessica Perez, Chief People Office and Executive Vice President of Culture at Starkey. “When you create an environment where people feel psychologically safe, you are also taking care of overall health and well-being. We are so appreciative of the hard work from our Starkey Family to change people’s lives across the globe through better hearing.”
Creating a workplace where employees feel valued, connected to the organization’s mission and purpose, and have opportunities to grow is more important now than ever. It is vital to connect the dots between providing an exceptional employee experience and the company’s end goal of leading the world in hearing health and wellness for patient-driven care. In order for organizations to thrive today, the necessary roles that culture and employee satisfaction play in reaching end goals can’t be ignored.
“As a leader, taking care of your employees is your number one priority,” said Brandon Sawalich, President and CEO at Starkey. “When you prioritize employee well-being and appreciation efforts, it creates a culture of caring and positivity that is passed along to and felt by your customers.”
