It’s a common refrain: people with hearing loss who finally decide to do something about it, do so because they’re “tired of missing things.” Things like their favorite sounds or socializing with friends and family. In fact, in a recent survey we did for our monthly SoundNews newsletter, more than half of the respondents said missing things was the catalyst for getting hearing aids.
Certainly, hearing alarm clocks and car horns is further down the list from missing laughter, conversations and music — but it is no less important to your overall quality of life. Because to hear better is to live better.
If you’re tired of missing out on happy sounds or important sounds, do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment soon with a hearing professional near you.
