Last month at the 2019 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) — “the world’s gathering place for next-generation consumer technologies” — Starkey proudly unveiled new updates and breakthrough advancements within Livio® AI, the world’s first hearing with 3D sensors and artificial intelligence.
Livio AI definitely caught the attention of attendees and media from around the globe, and opened the doors to a brand-new world of Healthable™ hearing technology and artificial intelligence application.
The new updates we announced were:
Fall detection and alerts
We are thrilled to introduce a product that can help give millions of people, their families and caregivers peace of mind. The Fall Alert feature can detect falls and send alert messages to selected contacts.
“I have always dreamed about making a monumental positive impact on society,” Starkey Hearing Technologies CEO Bill Austin said. “Livio AI and its Fall Alert feature will not only provide peace of mind to caregivers but could potentially save lives all over the world.”
Thrive Virtual Assistant
Delivering hands-free help whenever and wherever the wearer needs it, this application-based assistant can answer questions such as, “How can I change memory settings?” and allows the user to conveniently troubleshoot hearing aid and accessory issues.
